Hi, nothing at all. We where on the area where you can see everything at your feet after Forestry ripped it for Blue Gum. We Detected, we panned, and ran around in the bush a lot.

The mines they worked the exposed quarts veins running North/North East. 3 down the bottom, and 3 up the top. we did the bottom 3. Perhaps they where West more? in the old Trees? i have not had a chance to look at maps yet.

i Read a report on the actual Tenement we walked from the EZ in 1962. EL2/1962 last night after i got back. Magnetics and Soil sample. No report on AU but i would like to overlay the magnetics now with what i saw on the ground to make better sense of it all. So all is not lost.

But gold.. nada.

Cheers guys, thanks for letting me know hopefully next time will suit let me know if you want to go before the christmas trip.
The prospectors patch WA had the best deals on minelabs, when i was looking for mine, and they still do as we were looking recently for a gold snoop for Hunter,we noticed you could get 200 off and get a 5% discount on the gpx 5000.
Yeagh hunter is comeing were only going for sat and sun.
thanks again Coral and Phillip.
If anyone else is interested in going on a trip this weekend, weather permitting drop me a line.
