Some recent finds

A days effort up at the fossicking area. The large specimen is which I'm told is smokey Quartz is clear like glass and looks better in pic. Fun day had ,would like to explore up there a bit more with someone with more experience,if ur keen drop us a line. Al

Very nice for a day's work mate! Do you mind if I ask how far up the river you were? Assuming you mean the Frome Road/Weld River area?

Very nice albertross. It reminds me of a saying i read somewhere, 'gold is where you find it, but where you find it, i normally ain't '!

Cheers for all responses,upstream from campground!,there were five potential blue cutters,looking forward to seeing them cut. gold is always trying to go home!!Al
