Hi All . My brother and i will be camped at the camping ground just past the bridge at the Weld this Thu, Fri, Sat and Sun . not only working the Weld but a few other spots as well , if anyone interested call in and say hello. Dark Blue Pajero and White Hilux with canopy . Doing ok in area if prepared to work for it.

Hi explora. Firstly, that was a great bit of reading that you posted on cutting and selling your sapphires. Ummm we are still out and about in the northeast but will take a few more pics of the stone when we get back home. Will have a go at a gravity test with the 4 degree water as well! The cleavage is about the same as zircon and we are not sure if the outer is hosting a stain or otherwise. Looking up through it, it appears that it is of a somewhat clearer colour. Anyhow, will prob need some one with a lot more experience than us to look at it!
