Is the soil in Tassie as mineralized as in the golden triangle?

HI Kiloz

I would "guess" Victoria is hotter than here to detect on Its geologically older than Tasmania and had more events to work with and the colour of the soils is Fe. Other people on here would be better able to compare between the two. We do share a few geological events. Lachlan fold belt and Tabberabberan Orogeny etc.

I kinda like hotrocks. Dazza got a beauty in iron. It sounded just like a hot rock. And last week i hit a vein that almost over loaded my machine. A small sill of copper ore perhaps 3 inches across. Contains Chalcopyrite and possible gold. a floater. The detector went off and kept going... If i discriminated it out, And, i normally do. i would miss all the good stuff. a few times now, a patch of hotrocks has produced gold. so its worth considering using it as a strategy in some conditions.
