Hi there, Im looking for my first gold detector my current one is a minelab etrac for coin shooting.
Im looking to join and do field trips but first I need a gold machine.
I have a young family and I'm on a pretty tight budget so Im woundering if I could get away eit purchasing a vlf detector rather than a Pi detector.
I havnt been before so im woundering if a vlf will work in tassie or is our ground to hot?
I did se a post and read the vlf did well on a field trip.
It would be good to here from you and see what your thoughts are.
Thanks in advance
Sam

i wouldnt mind an SDC2300 either, perhaps a syndicate or time share. $500 each and share it for 2 months a year? between 6 people. or 12 people and make it cheaper again. After a year it could be resold, everyone refunded and we all get a go on one,, for free. :)

I dont even know if I'll find anything, I havnt been prospecting and I cant spend that amount of money just yet.
