Just wondering how people with gold monsters are going with them any good or bad reviews yet
I have been using xterra 705 with ok results but like the idea of the monsters 45 frequency for finer gold
Cheers Dean

I use mine mainly on beaches, parks and old sites and have found lots of coins old and new.
Have not tried it out in any gold producing areas yet so cannot comment on that.
would like to be with some one with experience to show me the ropes so to speak with detecting around gold fields.
Very happy with the goldmonster so far,its a cut above most entry level detectors I feel......Mark

Gday tagalong
Sounds like you are getting along well with it finding coins like that
I have ended up keeping the xterra and adding a gpx to use with it
The gold monster seems to be very similar to the xterra and the gps should give me a bit more depth
If you ever get out about in the north after gold let me know wouldn't mind seeing ine working
Cheers dean

hi Dean
I will be looking to buy a gpx 5000 in the near future, but cannot afford it at present.
What i like about the goldmonster is that you can use it all day,it is very light and balanced and comfortable to use.
The extra depth i will get with the gpx means i will have more chance of finding the yellow stuff.
Let us know if you find anything of interest......mark
