Left Overs

Post by Dave79 » Sun May 06, 2018 9:07 am

Hey everyone, good to see the site back on line :D. I've got a house in Beauty Point now. Awesome spot with plenty of old mining history to explore in the area. Even found a bit of gold in the middle arm ERA that's's up at the moment. Nothing special but been getting a few specks in every pan so it's keeping me happy.

Ha ha , lucky I wasn't getting paid by the hour. I thought black sand was bad till I found a spot with crushed pyrite! Found out what fools gold really means when I tried to clean that lot up!

Nah got that was the real stuff slowly washed out of about half a pan of fools gold. Got some more this weekend but trying not too spend too much time in that water. There's been all sorts of nasty stuff dumped in there over the years.
