Hi Folks

I went swinging in around the creek - like most creeks in central Vic at the moment they are bone dry. Wire & bridge deck spikes everywhere.
I did dig & scrape out some cracks which I have onmly 1/2 panned out (nothing so far)but the trip to the location is once again so different than anywhere I have been because the creek just changes so quickly within 200 metres.

It appears that I can only attach 4 files (Phil please confirm).

Hi Ron, All fixed, you can upload up to 50 images per post now.

Looks dry as anything there. Poor farmers must be having a hard time of it. do you take water with you or just detect?
Thanks for sharing your trip too i've never been to that part of the world so find it very interesting.

have a great weekend
Phillip

Hi Phil. I ended up with nothing for my efforts I spent possibly 2 hours there and i would have thought that I would have ended up with something as I dug in say a dozen places. There was a little water, which allowed me to start panning but it was rather limited & very cloudy. Ended up panning out over the next 2 weeks in various c'parks., The places were all bone dry.

Cheers
Ron
