Are you going to keep it as it is, or cut it????
Just curious! There's value and beauty either way......

I had a bit of mishap when polishing the pavilion (I dropped quill and knocked it off the dop stick) after a bit of cursing and stuff flying around the room I recut it to 0.93ct lost about half a carat I guess.

Blisters you are right on the money mate. The creek ive been in for a month now is so cold that for the first 2 hours after your arms get wet they scream in pain.Ive never been in colder water than I am now.Took some people out yesterday who blatently refused to get wet. They hung round for an hour and fled.Been picking up the odd good stone so its a catch 22.The creek is still low enough to get the goods but the water has you thinking about your mental state.Ill keep going till I find something worthy though.Just about cleaned up one area so I'm ready to move downstream for a look.As they say, harder the task the bigger the reward. All still welcome to come for a dig anytime, just bring your drysuits.Cheers

Yeah diggin. Days are getting short quickly and its getting harder to see down in the creeks now but the water is still low and the rewards are there for those who want to persevere. Might have to get me some wet suit gloves!
